Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@wildtrekexpeditions.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Wild Trek Expeditions is a place-based 501 3 C organization. Our mission is to provide safe and affordable place-based options for students.  Wild Trek trips are special because of our staff's flexibility and enthusiasm that is shown on all of our trips.

We take both middle and high schoolers on all of our trips.

Refunds are not possible for any reason as the money that  comes in goes to pay for our reservations. It is recommended that you look into trip insurance if you are worried about this.  You may also find somebody to take your place on the trip.

The initial registration process is simple.  You will only need to select the trip you want and pay a 50% deposit.  All payments can be made through credit cards. The credit card company charges a fee but we pay that. You will include the students name and birth date during checkout but that is it.  This reserves your spot.  We will follow up later to collect the rest of the information we need. You will receive a confirmation e-mail after your registration. You may need to check your spam folder.

Students will be allowed to bring and use their phone on this trip. However, there will be an expectation that while out in the field the phone should only be used for picture taking purposes.

Lodging will be in KOA cabins.  The cabins have electricity, heat, air conditioning and beds.  Shower houses with flushing toilets, and hot private showers are located near the cabins.  Each cabin includes a porch for relaxing.  Students will bring their own pillow and sleeping bag for on top of the mattresses.
